Shari Gulley was born and raised in the Washington
DC metropolitan area. Her father was a performer so she took the stage at an early age to follow in his footsteps. She spent many years singing and acting during grade school all the way through college.
During high school, she also excelled in athletics. She made state and regional finals in gymnastics, became a two-time MVP cheerleader, and made All State for both her volleyball and softball teams.
After graduating from Virginia Tech, she continued her acting at The Theatre Lab in DC. She participated in such productions as Eleemosynary, The Crucible, As You Like It, and Nice People Dancing. Shortly thereafter, she made the move to Los Angeles, CA.
Her highlights since being in LA include two TV co-star roles, two short films, two full length horror features, many commericals and host work, and one lead role on stage at the San Fran Fringe Festival where she sold out 19 shows in 5 days. She studies under the direction of her mentor, Richard Lawson of the RL Studios and is affliated with the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
